FINALLY A (mini) BEAUTY HAUL!

Last night I went to Sephora, posted a picture on my Instagram, @BeautyyPieBlog, and my followers wanted to see what was inside the bag! I cant explain how excited I am about this buy, I've been wanting these three products for quite sometime and was finally able to purchase it all. 

1. Clarins Eye Contour Balm: I've heard wonderful things about this eye balm. I was looking for one that wasn't very thick and would feel light on my eyes with no irritation. I am in my early twenties and experimenting with skincare products to discover what works best with my skin, and eye cream was one of the final products I needed to complete my regimen. Last night was the first time using it and I really enjoyed it! It was probably a mental thing for being so excited, but I thought the circles under my eyes looked lighter in the morning. ( I will write a review on this after I have properly used this product long enough to give a truthful review!)

2. Clinique Take the day off Cleansing Balm: The only thing I have to say about this product is WOW. I helped one of my roommates with a photography project where I was the model. I had to wear very heavy makeup (I'll attach the photo at the end of this post.) Normally, heavy makeup takes me awhile to remove it all, a total of face wipes, face wash, eye makeup remover etc. With this cleansing balm it took me less than 5 minutes to take it all off. I was speechless. I was also slightly hesitant on putting this on my face since I tend to break out easily, but it left absolutely no residue, and my skin felt great! 3. NAKED 3 Palette: This needs no explanation. I have heard many people express their concern with this palette because of the pinks before buying this, then in Sephora, two girls were standing next to me expressing their dislike for  the pink coloring. I want to let you all know, pink and rose golds are not something to be afraid of, it wont make you look like you have an eye infection (I've heard this concern, too.)  Pairing certain colors would really enhance every eye color. I used this palette for my eye make up in the photo shoot project I mentioned above, and I was in love.

The questions Daniela had asked for me to answer:

1.  Why did you start blogging?

-  I started to blog because I enjoyed the idea of it being my own personal space where I can combine everything I love art, photography, journaling, makeup, cooking, baking, health and fitness and much more.

2. When did you start blogging - and why did you choose that particular time to start up that blog?

- I started BeautyyPie about a month or so before the New Year! I chose this time because I didn't want to be afraid to blog anymore, I put my big girl panties on and created BeautyyPie :)

3. What is your favourite make up brand?

-       Oh this is a tough one. I don’t think I can choose just one, some of my favorites are Benefit, NARS, Stila, Dior, MAC, Too Faced and Urban decay.

4. Which do you make more of an effort on - hair, make up or clothes?

-       Everyday, I would say I put more effort into my make-up (If I choose to wear it that day) but, If I was going out in the evening I would put more effort into my hair.

5. What is your favourite blog? Name and link :)

- My favorite blog is Zoella. I think she is absolutely adorable and I have a major friend crush on her. (Friend crush definition: I really want to be her friend.)

6. What do you enjoy the most about blogging?

- I enjoy meeting new people and reading other blogs.

7. Why did you choose your blog name?

- I wanted something creative… I bounced back and forth between a fitness name and a beauty name until I realized that Beauty is made up of more than just make up. It is a pie filled with skincare, health, fitness, friendship and so much more! Cheesy? Yep, but whatever!

8. Drugstore or high end make up? And why?

- I prefer high end make up, solely because it’s better quality and it doesn’t break my skin out. I had that problem for a long time until I switched my makeup and skin care to a better quality. Don’t get me wrong, there are some amazing drugstore products out there that I enjoy as well.

9. If you had £1000 to spend on make up, what would be on your shopping list?

- A Clarisonic, PMD, Origins skincare, glam glow mud mask, Lush products, Clinique correcting cream, bobbi brown gel eyeliner, Naked Palettes 1 &2, Dior and MAC lipsticks, Dior foundation, hourglass primer and Nars products.

10. Where would you like to go the most in the world?

- Thailand, Greece, Italy… I want to travel the whole world I can’t choose just ONE spot but Thailand is up there!

11. Give one weird and wonderful thing about yourself.

- I’m the biggest homebody you will every meet and I love wine, food, movies and television far too much.
